We are a group of enthusiastic teachers who work as a team in creating a positive and motivating learning environment for students. It is our focus to help students feel capable of playing music at every age and level. Instead of "Making" students progress, we lead students to become personally invested in creating music and progressing to the next challenge. We believe in celebrating the milestones along with the smallest of accomplishments in the learning journey.

Mr. Rob

Rob Wren is a local musician who plays in various bands around San Diego. He's a very flexible teacher and adjusts his teaching style to best fit the goals of the student, be it learning how to play songs, recording, writing, or just being comfortable to jam and improvise with others. Rob is experienced in teaching piano students to prepare for the certificate exams up to advanced level. He teaches and runs the PowerClasses™ and theory group classes.

Music holds a profound place in my life, as I have dedicated over a decade to singing, composing, arranging, and performing. Through my teaching experience, I have gained valuable insights into the learning process while deriving immense satisfaction from witnessing my students' growth. I eagerly look forward to both learning from and sharing with you, as we embark on a collaborative musical journey.

Teaching music has always been a part of my life, even as a child musician, I helped other fellow students. I enjoy being able to play multiple instruments and show my students they can be well rounded in this way too. I don't expect my students to become concert pianists, but I show them they can become the best that they want to be. I enjoy workiing with students of all ages, including adults!
